Data Destruction
Adversaries may delete or overwrite data - such as database records, configuration files, or backups - to disrupt operations and hamper recovery. Targets can include local or cloud-hosted resources, with an emphasis on irreversibly damaging the integrity of business-critical data. If successful, these destructive actions can cause severe service outages and lead to loss of customer trust.
